A few years ago I started Pecan Springs Publishing with my former publisher, Marie McGaha's philosophy: give writers a chance to be published. She believed if someone was a great storyteller but the manuscript had serious flaws, fix it and share the story with the world. That too, is something I believe in.

We have been blessed with books that evoke laughter, tap into the inner child, cause moments of reflection, and help us cope with what life hands us. And it's equally rewarding some of the books have become award-winners. This past July, The Year of Penny  (by Laurie Pluimer), and Journey Through the Lens (by Jonathan Roppolo) won first place in their respective categories in the Regal Summit Book Awards. 

We are very proud of both authors and wish them continued success.
